Feeding Recommendations & Guide
Our Puppy Starter Food
Our puppies are raised on Purina Pro Plan Medium Puppy Sensitive Digestion; they can continue on this food until they are 12 months old, then transition to the adult food.
Formulated with colostrum to boost immunity and support gut health.
For the first 5-6 months of life we highly recommend Keeping them on what their tummy already knows, while they are settling into their new life and routine ,as the gut plays a huge part in wellbeing. Unless advised otherwise by your vet.

From 5-6 months transitioning on to:
Pure Pet Foods Dog Food- A simple to feed, delicious nutritious alternative to kibble
We have been very impressed by this food; our dogs have done well on it and absolutely love it!
Human grade gently air dried meat, fruits and veg, packed with nutrients that you just add water to.
We now recommend this to our new owners as a feed to transition onto.
*Suitable from young age & sensitive tummies
*No raw feeding prep/balancing diet worries
*No freezer space needed
*Quick & simple to store and serve
Transition Carefully
If you do decide to change food later, take it slowly.
Mix the new food in gradually over 7 days, starting with 25% of the new food for the first two days then gradually increase. This helps to avoid upset stomachs.
How many meals should my puppy have?
Our recommendation
8 - 16 weeks 4 meals per day
4 - 6 months 3 meals per day
6 months onwards 2 meals per day.
Always follow packet guidance for quantity per day and split between the meals.
Know how much your dog or puppy weighs, this has a bearing on the amount of food needed.
Once adult, level of activity and whether neutered or not also has a bearing on how much food they need.
If ever your dog or puppy seems over or under weight or has symptoms you are concerned may be connected to diet, always take advice from your vet.
